Hyland's tablets to help babies with teething recalled nationwide

Several kinds of teething tablets for babies have been recalled, federal officials said.

A box of recalled Hyland's Baby Teething Tablet.

Hyland's Baby Teething Tablets and Hyland's Baby Nighttime Teething Tablets might contain amounts of belladonna alkaloids that differ from what the packaging indicates, the Food and Drug Administration said in a news release.

Belladonna poses a serious health hazard to children, the FDA says.

Standard Homeopathic Company stopped making the products in October but the recall is to make sure any left on shelves are pulled.

Anyone who still has the product should toss them.
